The Clerk of the Circuit Court of Cook County is the keeper of records for the court system. In this role, the Clerk fulfills a variety of functions, including: recording court decisions and events; handling fines, bail bonds and other financial transactions; and providing the court system with supportive services such as record storage, microfilming and automation.
